The Angry Video Game Nerd (played by James Rolfe) is the protagonist of a popular web series of the same name.
He's gonna take you back to the past, to play the shitty games that suck ass

He'd rather have, a buffalo, take a diarrhea dump in his ear.

Start on the Internet/"Bad NES Games"

James started video game reviews in 2004 in his series originally titled "Bad NES Games". It was meant as a one time thing but his friend Mike Matei requested to him to do more and so he did. He grew a fanbase from these two videos, which grew to the point that people were literally on their knees begging for another video from James.

The Angry Video Game Nerd Series

The Angry Video Game Nerd began with the name "Angry Nintendo Nerd", with all of the trademark nerd clothes (white button shirt, glasses, etc.). He also drank Rolling Rock (Alcohol) in the first Angry Nintendo Nerd episode and that specific beer caught on as the Nerd's trademark. A while later the name of "Angry Nintendo Nerd"  was changed into "The Angry Video Game Nerd" to avoid copyright with Nintendo and to play games on other gaming systems like Atari, SEGA and Playstation. The series starring the Nerd has 140 episodes as of May 2016 and is still slowly corking out episodes to this day.

You can find his YouTube channel here.

On Miiverse

The Nerd has his own game, Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures. The game has been released on the Wii U, and thus has a Miiverse community. Pictures were temporarily banned from the community because of inappropriate imagery.

It also drove a lot of controversy on Miiverse due to its inappropriate imagery.
