The Nintendo 64 Logo.

The Nintendo 64 (commonly abbreviated as N64) is one of the most well-known systems to gamers. It was the first console to integrate 3-D environments and was innovative for its time, alongside the PlayStation. The name of the hardware was chosen simply because graphically, it has 64-bits which the company tried to advertise to the consumers. Many popular game franchises originated from this console such as Banjo-Kazooie, Super Smash Bros,, and Paper Mario.
